“Jesus would say all the roadways of the world, which is what the five senses are part of, lead to death, without exception, and men have died upon seeing this. And yet, if they had just taken one more step past that, they could have been led to heights of happiness. Diana was talking about the adventure, the excitement. This is the adventure and excitement of going past all those distractions, all those apparent dramas, and getting in touch with eternal life or the gateway to eternal life. And there are many. You’ve seen many. If you look at your lifetime, you can look at all the memories. Some were good memories, some were bad memories, some were intense, some were a little softer, but they’re a pattern. And it’s also helpful to be reminded from Jesus Christ. You know, he’s the wayshower. He says, ‘The dreams you think you like would hold you back as much as those in which the fear is seen.’ T-29.IV.2:1 That’s a pretty powerful line. If one of the wayshower to give you a hint of what you’re going to need to know to go on this inward journey, ‘The dreams you think you like would hold you back as much as those in which the fear is seen.’
In other words, the miracle is going to pierce through the veil, is going to transcend, but the miracle just sees the false as false. Miracle doesn’t make a hierarchy of illusions and tell you, ‘Oh come over here. These illusions will free you from time and space, will take you back to eternity.’ That’s the ego that will make a hierarchy of illusions and have you going for good illusions. So it’s important even as you come here, and you hear these ideas, and you get a flavor of Mexico and life in Mexico, and you go, It’s a contrast from my perception of my part of the world, you know, don’t get too caught up in that contrast either. Because we’re here to find that steadfast way, the miracle, that middle road that Buddha talked about, that miracle that Jesus talked about, that steady, certain, sure point in your mind that is not fooled by anything, that’s always there, that you always can come to, you always can turn to. That’s really the point of everything.”
