A Journey to Wholeness – An interview about David’s biographical and inward journey to Wholeness. Beginning with questions of childhood, and school, and geographic location, the interview then shifts to important and salient points along the way. The interview concludes with David’s state of mind and present awareness.
David works with a specific call for love during this session as an inroad to healing and inner peace. Using the levels of mind diagram, he uses the presenting problem as a starting point for going inward to the light of the Holy Spirit. Under all our seeming fears in this world, what we are really afraid of is the light. Other themes in this talk include family issues, the deep belief in sacrifice, and the two plans of forgiveness: the ego’s and the Holy Spirit’s.
In A Course in Miracles Jesus stresses the importance of mind training and becoming conscious of our thoughts. This is what will help lead us out of our fearful state of wrong mindedness and into the blissful awareness of right mindedness or alignment with the Spirit. Other topics include forgiveness, and how to move through the highs and lows that may be experienced on this journey.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit want us to be happy and can use anything in our lives to help lead us to this experience; any thought or feeling that is not of supreme joy can be used. David describes in this talk some of the dialogues that he had with Jesus years ago when he was unwinding from the ego thought system. The workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles are extremely practical and are a powerful tool to help you experience consistent peace of mind.
A Course in Miracles is a direct pathway back to God that teaches us how to forgive. The goal of ACIM is not about making a better life in the world, but about letting the world as we perceive it fall apart. This necessarily involves letting go of control, and as we pray to be shown the world through the light of the Holy Spirit, it becomes easier and easier. Peace becomes our natural experience. We experience miracles. And we become peaceful demonstrations of the love of Christ.
