How Can We Escape This Fictional World? – David explores the topic of virtual reality as it relates to experiencing the world. If this world is a simulation, a fiction of make-believe memories and images, and if this world is generated by subconscious beliefs and thoughts, what is the escape to reality? David explains that guidance or intuition is the key to the steps to awakening from the simulation called the time-space cosmos.
Mastery through Love – David hosts a powerful session, with Q&A, exploring the theme of “mastery through love” (T-2.VII.4:4) and asking the question: if this world is a distraction device, how do we think we could ever understand anything?
Seeing No Error – Nothing in time and space is really free, because the ego made it. This is the ego’s world. This linear, fragmented world of division and separation is hell. There must be a deep clearing and emptying of the mind, a deep purification of all ego goals, values, concepts, and allowance of the darkness to come up to reach a state of mind that is joined with the Holy Spirit. This mind knows only innocence, sees only innocence, and sees no error. Any darkness in the mind does need to be released. Once this purification has occurred, all the love and gratitude in our hearts will naturally begin to pour out.
What Is the Authority Problem in ACIM? – Issues that come up in parenting reflect the authority problem. The ego’s thought system rejects God as its Author and wants to assert its own free will, control, and authority. We are here to be givers. It is a state of mind that shares true generosity and holds the same loving attitude towards everyone we meet or think of.
