Projection and Its Undoing – David talks about trust, integrity of mind, and following guidance, by letting the Spirit lead the way. Guidance can be very specific, which helps to undo preferences and develop trust. The ego peoples its world, and the characters in the world are neither real nor whole. Special relationships and that projection are not interpersonal. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Those characters represent grievances. And David reminds us that empowerment of the mind is the focus, rather than personal empowerment.

Body as the Means to Heal the Mind – When the body is given much of the attention, the body becomes the end, and the mind is enslaved by the ego. The mind trains and works hard, getting more and more stressed, in order to benefit the body figure. When ambitions, goals, the future, and the body are all given back to the Spirit, the mind can breathe again, feel free and connected to the source. And the vitality and vibrancy of being used comes in.

Why Release Private Thoughts? – The Living Miracles community guidelines emphasize the importance of not holding on to private thoughts. We are not the thinker of the thoughts. When private thoughts are protected, the identification of being the thinker of the thoughts is also protected. By expressing private thoughts as guided, we are supporting each other in letting go of the false identification and coming to an awareness of truth.

Pulling the Plug on the Ego – The mind that is trapped in the ego is seeking freedom in the world. Do not attempt to understand or figure out this world. The Course teaches that “My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world.” W-11 It is the mind that needs help and healing. To the degree that we do not define the problem, we can allow the Spirit to guide us to find the real problem (belief in separation) and real solution (Atonement).
