Why Am I so Confused?

Why Am I so Confused?

As we allow our minds to be trained and we become uncompromising in our desire for truth, we can start to have fun with this world of hypothetical thinking. The Holy Spirit leads us from the heavy burden of identity-confusion into the lightness of being Christ-Identified.

True Empathy: Being Truly Helpful

True Empathy: Being Truly Helpful

How can I practice being truly helpful? Often in this world you might find yourself wanting to be helpful and then feeling conflicted, wondering: “How did this happen? How did I get in so much conflict? I was trying to help.” Let Spirit show you the difference between false and true empathy. The more you join with the Holy Spirit on this journey and practice true empathy, the more you experience that the fears in your mind simply melt away.

This World Is a Distraction from Heaven

This World Is a Distraction from Heaven

This world is a distraction that was made to keep you mindless. As you start to pull away from these distractions it will seem that your life gets more tumultuous. The top tier of your self-concept, or “face of innocence,” (T-31.V.2:6) was made to prevent you from looking upon a self that you believe is draped with sin. As you join with your mighty companions and have the willingness and courage to look at this dark and hidden self, you approach what is underneath and what you are in truth: pure blazing light!

Trust in the Unwinding of the Illusion

Trust in the Unwinding of the Illusion

The unwinding from the illusion is all part of the Holy Spirit’s plan for Awakening. David Hoffmeister talks about the desire to go Home and the journey to Enlightenment. Just when we get comfortable in the world, the rug will get pulled out from under your feet and it’ll feel like you’re falling. Do not be discouraged. This is just a transition into a new way of being that is very stable and very strong. You have to learn to trust in the falling and know that you are in the hands of the Spirit.

The End of Compromise

The End of Compromise

In taking on a “human identity” you compromise the truth of who you are and frustration is sure to follow. David Hoffmeister shares that this journey is leading you to the end of all compromise when you answer the Call to go Home and say in your heart, “I will not compromise with the Light.” You are created to extend who you are: Love. Your function does not include making up your own identity! Things and people will seem to fall away as you make the decision to follow your heart, but the Spirit will be able to provide everything you need when you refuse to compromise with the truth in any way.
