How Can I Have Fun with Spiritual Awakening? – David Hoffmeister shares about the previous night’s movie, Yesterday, and reminds us about the Beatles’ influence on our mind and John Lennon’s extension of love through the music. David also shares his own journey with Jesus and A Course in Miracles. He emphasizes the importance of purpose and talks about how we are getting ready to move into a new phase and how to use the symbols for Awakening. David gives a beautiful context for the Living Miracles spiritual community and how it was founded, as well as how he received guidelines for the community in the form of “No people-pleasing and no private thoughts.”
What Is the Experience of True Prayer? – David Hoffmeister draws the audience into an experience of forgiveness and purpose. Even though words are “twice removed from reality,” (M-21.1:10) the Holy Spirit can use them for healing, and David uses them to guide us into an experience of unified awareness, or “into the Kingdom.” We are like the prodigal son, who is welcomed by his father when he finally returns home. Let us return to our beautiful Mind together. This session also contains several questions and prayers from participants on a variety of topics, including devoting life to forgiveness, miracle worker training, and undoing what was never done!
Releasing Projection to Enter the Holy Instant – In this talk, David speaks about the topic of projection and addresses the basic cause and effect relationship in the mind. Love extends, and the ego projects. The process of forgiveness requires the exposure and release of the belief in external causation. And all magic involves a belief that form can be causative. In the end, spiritual awakening requires the release of all magical beliefs. When the level of fear is high, a mixture of magic and miracle may be helpful. Time and eternity can conflict until the belief in time is released.
Listen to Joy! – This gathering with David explores some of the deepest teachings, including there is nothing here to save, truth as experience, practical spirituality, choice comes with linear time and the choiceless choice, being in the flow of ‘what is,’ spontaneity and joy of the involuntary nature of the miracles.
David explains that past and future are ego constructs, defense mechanisms meant to maintain linear perception and illusion. The new way to perceive, which leads to awakening, is through recognizing the simultaneous nature of time. Unified time = Purpose.
