Why Is It Impossible to Change Eternal Love? – When Jesus tells us in the Course that we have no private thoughts, he is basically saying that it’s impossible to think apart from our Source. If we are a creation of God, we automatically think like God. That means our real thoughts are loving thoughts. And there is no guilt or fear or pain or shame that comes from loving thoughts. Our willingness to release these false, make-believe thoughts and be fully transparent will catapult us into an experience of Oneness, Eternal Love, which is our true inheritance.
A Required Course in Forgiveness and Cluelessness – A Course in Miracles is an uncompromising path to God. That is what makes it so gentle—there is no wiggle room. Although that idea may seem scary to the ego, it really is where the release point comes in the mind. When we are willing to give ourselves wholly to God, we are happy. It is only withholding that causes pain. Dive deep with David as he explores topics including letting go of idols, true forgiveness as taught by Jesus, and the importance of having a clueless state of mind on this spiritual journey.
How Do I Reach the Forgiven World? – In A Course in Miracles, Jesus tells us that “It is a required course” (In-1:2) and yet says that we have free will. However, “Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time.” (In-1:4-5) When we give ourselves over to the Presence behind the Course, we see that it is a course in forgiveness, but not forgiveness as we know it when we forgive people or things. It’s a course in forgiving and releasing every situation because it never happened.
