See the Whole Where Pieces Once Seemed to Be – The ego-made perception hides reality behind a cracked mirror with fragmented pieces, where everything is seen as its own separate piece, a person, a cat, an atom. When we perceive only the pieces, it gets very confusing. When we focus on the parts, we open our mind to the thought of attack. Deep inside we know, seeing the world as a whole is the answer to our happiness.
A New Interpretation of Easter – In this talk, a new interpretation of Easter is offered. We are invited to see this celebration as an opportunity to remember the resurrection of the mind and see the new meaning of the symbol of the cross. As we accept these new meanings and shift our mind, the result is happiness.
What Is the Forgiven World? – In this online retreat, David shares that the forgiven world is being in the Presence of God’s Love, to be in the present moment. Imagine how happy you would be if you didn’t perceive any error. No matter what anybody said or did, you would still be in the divine flow. You would have no need to correct anybody, no need to fix anybody. You would have no need to change any person, place, or circumstance. You would have no need to please anybody either. To be in that experience, we have to be with the Spirit, and when we open our hearts to that vision, we can truly feel that everything works together for good.
In My Defenselessness My Safety Lies – In this Q&A session, David Hoffmeister addresses questions such as “How can we go through the experience of the death of a loved one with more peace and less pain?” “How do I dominate the ego?” and “How can I break out of ego confusion?” The gathering also includes a discussion on releasing the ego’s sense of protecting and protectionism. Protecting is a block to clarity and peace of mind.
The more you give yourself over to the joy of the Spirit, the more you see that your Plan Bs avail you nothing. The world’s mantra that we need to plan for the future and be prepared for all situations is not our real concern. Our real fear is present joining. As we give up our little plans and align our mind with the Spirit’s plan, we experience life as a joyful, spectacular unfolding.
