A Course in Miracles teaches: “You have but two emotions, love and fear.” T-13.V.1 Ultimately the only thing we are afraid of, is Love. The ego would have you believe that there are other, specific things in the world to fear, because it wants to protect itself from being exposed to the light of truth: the things it wants you to fear are actually just distractions to keep you from the awareness of your desire for God. Under the Spirit’s Guidance, miracles occur absolutely involuntarily; every person, every place, and every situation will be used for the healing of your mind.

When we put the Kingdom of Heaven first, Spirit will arrange everything for us, we do not have to worry about how it will unfold. Be like a feather in the wind, living in the flow of trust, and divine providence will carry you. This is the message of the Holy Spirit; that when you put His purpose first, everything you need in this world will come without effort. But we can’t just wish the ego thought system away. As David Hoffmeister tells us in this talk, we have to purify the mind; we have to let Holy Spirit unwind us out.

The illusion that you have any control over your actions lies at the core of your belief and desire for autonomy/separation from God. Feelings like “I have control issues” or “you have control issues” are really expressions of the one mistaken belief in separation, the illusion of control. Relief from suffering comes from an acceptance that the illusion of voluntary control was not created by God and is therefore impossible.

Spirit shows us that He is everywhere. He will show you every step you will need to take along the way on this path to Awakening. Collaboration is the way of living in the miracles. You can’t fit A Course in Miracles into your life because that would be asking for far too little. The Spirit’s plan for you is realizing your magnitude.
