Let the Thoughts up into Awareness – David and friends sink deeply exploring these topics: living in community, trusting guidance, sharing miracles, divine providence, being treated unfairly, and asking the veil to be lifted with forgiveness. They also discuss how the Mystical Mind Training program, music listening, and the Movie Watcher’s Guide to Enlightenment are helpful tools to make Awakening more fun.
Seeing No Error – Nothing in time and space is really free, because the ego made it. This is the ego’s world. This linear, fragmented world of division and separation is hell. There must be a deep clearing and emptying of the mind, a deep purification of all ego goals, values, concepts, and allowance of the darkness to come up to reach a state of mind that is joined with the Holy Spirit. This mind knows only innocence, sees only innocence, and sees no error. Any darkness in the mind does need to be released. Once this purification has occurred, all the love and gratitude in our hearts will naturally begin to pour out.
The Real Alternative – The mind tries to find all sorts of distractions, such as television and entertainment, to avoid looking at the desperation, deep sense of loss, disillusionment, meaninglessness, and fear. Come join David as he takes you through the “dark night of the soul” into the real alternative. When you see that trials and tribulations have no value, you’ll let go of the investment in illusions. Listen to that small, still voice within, and follow it as it takes you beyond the darkness into heights of happiness.
David Hoffmeister holds a Q&A session with the students on day two of the Tabula Rasa Mystery School. He opens the session by reminding the students that there may be extreme emotions to face during this month, but with willingness and an open mind we can expect many miracles and synchronicities to carry us along. Questions include: 1. Do the 12 step program and the Course go together? 2. Commitment in terms of content and when do we start to see the goods? 3. A question on going backward on the spiritual journey. 4. Is being gay an abomination? 5. Paramahansa Yogananda and eastern philosophy. 6. Abuse and victimization. 7. Sickness.
In this Mystery School, David Hoffmeister asks the students to share their experiences with the movie that was shown earlier that day, “The Family Stone”. The students then share their thoughts and expressions while David shares his insight. Topics include; Sickness, Relationships, Projection, Fear of Death, Family.
