David Hoffmeister holds a Q&A session with the students on day two of the Tabula Rasa Mystery School. He opens the session by reminding the students that there may be extreme emotions to face during this month, but with willingness and an open mind we can expect many miracles and synchronicities to carry us along. Questions include: 1. Do the 12 step program and the Course go together? 2. Commitment in terms of content and when do we start to see the goods? 3. A question on going backward on the spiritual journey. 4. Is being gay an abomination? 5. Paramahansa Yogananda and eastern philosophy. 6. Abuse and victimization. 7. Sickness.
Enjoy this rich talk that will help you gain an understanding of where our problems really lie: in the mind and nowhere else. All of our guilt, fear, and rage is all in the mind not out in the world. Accepting this is not only a time saver but your ticket to true freedom and peace of mind. Other topics include inspiring accounts of the lives of mystics such as Ghandi, William Whitson, and Living Miracles’ minister Frances Xu.
Our true reality is a Spiritual Kingdom, and in this Kingdom we are all One and nothing is missing. But when the ego made the world, the mind fell asleep and forgot this Oneness. In its place a world of separation was projected in which the idea of loss seems to make sense. Now must the Holy Spirit convince us that loss is impossible, and that as we awaken everyone gains. Open your heart to the Spirit, and you will be shown that no one can lose and everyone must gain by your decision to awaken.
What is the cure for pain and suffering? How do you deal with sickness on this path to Awakening? In this audio, David Hoffmeister answers an email (read by Sarah) from a friend who’s seeking help with this topic. David’s answer offers a permanent cure for pain and suffering, rather than just a temporary relief from distress. This is an amazing reply full of clarity, true empathy, and real Love.
Everything is falling apart. This world of images that you see is a projection of attack thoughts; an attempt to dilute the guilt you feel from the belief that you’ve attacked God during the separation. Forgiveness is the great unifier and it is essential that you allow the darkness to come up for forgiveness and receive the correction. The Holy Spirit uses contrast experiences to bring this unconscious darkness into awareness. At the core of this healing is the purifying of desire—you have to want to see. This is part of the dismantling process, which is horrific to the ego, but the Holy Spirit rejoices at this as it means that you are literally coming closer and closer to the light of truth!
