Meet the Conditions, Meet the Creator
God is the First Cause; there is no other. He creates like Himself; Love extends forever. To give and to receive are one in truth. W-108 We always give to ourselves.
Decide that you cannot decide anything; simply show up for Christ. Let Him show you how to meet the conditions of the Kingdom. In love, joy, and peace, we meet the Creator.

“Some of you know a good friend of George Harrison was Billy Preston; he was the keyboards behind a lot of George’s collaborations. He had that song, ‘Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. You have got to have something if you want to be with me.’ And that is what God is saying. In other words, you cannot even know God unless you think like God, unless you meet the conditions of peace.
How could you have a conflicted mind, how could you be at war with yourself or war with society or other people or even with nature, how could you be at war with an insect, and know your Creator? If the Creator is the First Cause, and there is no other, and there is only love—like the Beatles said, all we need is love, all we need is to remember that we are love. And how could you know the Creator unless you meet the conditions? So we are not really asked to love. The Course even says it is not aimed at teaching the meaning of love, for that is far beyond what can be taught. It aims at removing the obstacles to the awareness of love’s presence. In-1:6-7 That is what it means to meet the conditions. We are meeting the conditions of the Creator so we can know that we are one with the Creator. It is really that simple.
How could we know we are at one with love if we are still holding on to conditions in mind that do not lead to that oneness, that are not even known by that oneness? And then people say, ‘If there is only one, what is with all this Trinity stuff?’ Well, Holy Spirit is just a symbol of one who looks beyond the error and remembers the truth. The Holy Spirit acts as a bridge. I was reading a section today from the Course, and it is basically saying that only the Holy Spirit can communicate with God because the Holy Spirit meets the conditions of God. Of course that would be the one. You are simply asked to meet the conditions in order to know the Creator. And so that is what forgiveness is about. It is just meeting the conditions.”
