How to Use Relationships for Awakening – The deeper we go on this journey, the more we discover what seems to be an ocean of guilt deeply buried in the mind. But there is something beneath the guilt, and that is love. The more we allow the Holy Spirit to use all of our relationships, the more this unconscious guilt can rise up to be released, and the more we see this precious love beyond the guilt and fear.
How Do I Unwind from the Ego? – Enjoy this deep session with David Hoffmeister discussing the amnesia that the world is based on and the importance of forgetting the world to remember God.
Can I Have a Mind That Is Stable and Consistent? – During this very mystical session with David, he shares that the curriculum of A Course in Miracles ultimately comes down to these three core teachings: “be passers-by,” “judge not,” and “forget this world.” Yes, Jesus is actually calling us into a total forgetfulness of this world. Everything we perceive is symbolic, and in the end, it is seen that none of the symbols mean anything and thus can be forgotten. The full acceptance of Lesson 1, “Nothing I see means anything,” leads to perfect peace and the remembrance that the separation never occurred. Only love remains in awareness!
What Happens If You Listen and Follow the Holy Spirit? – David invites us to admit the perceptual problem we have. We won’t be able to change the dream, only the purpose of the dream. In this session, David shares many parables to demonstrate how to listen and follow the Holy Spirit.
The Joy of Full Transparency – To experience the peace of God, you must be willing to not harbor private thoughts. As we release these private thoughts and drop the mask, we discover how natural and light we feel. Our joy comes not from pleasing people but from giving ourselves fully to God: “What would You have me do? Where would You have me go? What would You have me say, and to whom?” W-71.9:3-5
Why Is It Impossible to Change Eternal Love? – When Jesus tells us in the Course that we have no private thoughts, he is basically saying that it’s impossible to think apart from our Source. If we are a creation of God, we automatically think like God. That means our real thoughts are loving thoughts. And there is no guilt or fear or pain or shame that comes from loving thoughts. Our willingness to release these false, make-believe thoughts and be fully transparent will catapult us into an experience of Oneness, Eternal Love, which is our true inheritance.
A Required Course in Forgiveness and Cluelessness – A Course in Miracles is an uncompromising path to God. That is what makes it so gentle—there is no wiggle room. Although that idea may seem scary to the ego, it really is where the release point comes in the mind. When we are willing to give ourselves wholly to God, we are happy. It is only withholding that causes pain. Dive deep with David as he explores topics including letting go of idols, true forgiveness as taught by Jesus, and the importance of having a clueless state of mind on this spiritual journey.
How Do I Reach the Forgiven World? – In A Course in Miracles, Jesus tells us that “It is a required course” (In-1:2) and yet says that we have free will. However, “Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time.” (In-1:4-5) When we give ourselves over to the Presence behind the Course, we see that it is a course in forgiveness, but not forgiveness as we know it when we forgive people or things. It’s a course in forgiving and releasing every situation because it never happened.
Reverse Cause and Effect – Reverse the cause and effect relationship in your mind and step into magnitude with David Hoffmeister in this session of an online retreat!
What Does “The Way Is Narrow” Mean? – David invites us to go beyond all temptations, delays, and distractions. Stay the course and practice the narrow focus of forgiveness that dissolves specialness, for freedom of mind is the only thing worthy of your effort now.
Accepting Ourselves as the Living Christ – David speaks at an international conference about his mission and answering the call from within.
Use Symbols to Bring Blessings to All – In this insightful online event, David shares his experiences and insights on how the Holy Spirit can work through us by using symbols to bring blessings to all.
Demystifying Sexual Relationships – In this talk, David responds to a number of questions around sexual relationship issues. As is the case with any of the issues we face in this world, we are never upset for the reason that we think. The problem is never external. Jesus is encouraging us to go inside and look honestly at our thoughts, which is the cause of all of our upsets. This talk also explores the fear of love and clarifies the difference between extending genuine help and people-pleasing.
Trusting the Present Moment – The ego has invented its own present moment, which is a tiny, insignificant blip, squeezed in between a vast past and a vast future. And that’s not really the present moment. The present moment is “before time was,” (T-13.VI.6:5) as Jesus calls it. So we’re on a real adventure here to experience the gateway to eternity.
How Can I Tune into the Presence of God? – David uses “I want the peace of God” (W-185) as a prayer for this closing session. If we mean it, there is no suffering that we cannot rise above. This is the promise Jesus gives us.
Holy Spirit’s Function Is Exchanging Concepts – David invites us to see that even though the ego has created the cosmos and everything in it, the Holy Spirit can use all this as symbols for His purpose. Even our interpersonal relationships can—if we have the purpose of forgiveness at the forefront—be used to come back to that still place of holiness in our mind.
